Richard. I too have just joined up with Ken, and look forward to picking his and others brains on this subject. It is one that I use now, and really enjoy my gill fishing more. It has been many years since I was up in Gaylord, having one of the famous "Wet Burittos" at the local bar up there. Always wanted to fish the Au Sauble river there in Grayling also.
Collectively, I call my jigs 'RiverCritters'. But I have some patterns that I have named, like the Dixie Crickets, Triple S ( small stream smallmouth), Pink Things, Jimmy's Skinny Minnie and others...all based on forage size and color for the targeted species. I don't tie for money, just to catch fish, and all are welcomed to duplicate and improve on the patterns I tie.
Hi dad. Became a member of bigbluegill. Thanks for the invite. Might try some late ice with Jim Fiddler this weekend. He wants to fish Houghton Lake. I will let you know if he calls.

Welcome Richard to fishing electronics. I started this site after seeing my system had so many functions I wasn't aware of. Our electronics of today have so many function most of us are not aware of. I started this group to bring it to our attention not only what our unit can do but being able to do it. I hoping this group will help to simplify our use of electronic to help us to better come acquainted with our individual units. The group is for all any input will be great.
I would be honored to be on your friends list and please feel free to contact me anytime. I may not have all your answers but I will answers your questions if possible. We both have common interest we may or may not be the same in the way we pursue it but the bottom line is we both love to fish although our methods may differ and that is one reason I and you will enjoy the site, we can learn off of each others different ways and increase our knowledge base. Richard I want to set the record straight it is not my web site I try to welcome all new people and let them know what the site has to offer. I'm on the computer a lot because of an unforeseeable situation I have to deal with at home. I love to fish but don't get out hardly at all because of my situation at home most anybody on the site will try to answer any question you may have. You might be amaze at all the different answers you might get from that one question not everybody here is the same and fishes the same. Bottom line I will be your friend.
