Did the pond dye do it ?

Back in 2012 I had a 5/8 acre pond dug. About one forth of it is ten feet deep, the rest tapers off to nothing. After a couple years the algae started growing. I decided to start a pond dye treatment. I did it two weeks ago with plans to do it eight weeks later and start again in the next spring. A…

Pond help

Which is better for pond,
Bottom Aeration or water pump and fountain type?
I have 2 ponds both about 1 acre.

I have looked at windmill but fear, I don’t have enough wind and too many trees.

Considering using solar panels to power pump or compressor.

Peoples thoughts are appreciated.
