Hi John. Nice to meet you. I've heard of Warfordsburg, but I'll have to look it up on the map. Maybe it's close enough we can fish together in the future. I'm a fly fisherman when I'm off of the ice. I hope to land some pan fish tomorrow. My 82-year-old mom loves 'em.

The Best,

Bruce

John...no crappie camp is scheduled for 2015. The last three were organized by outdoor writer Darl Black and I got an invite last year. It was also a promotional effort for local businesses and tourism departments.

Also, all my Mason Dixon ponds are about 80 miles east of Hancock, so this little gem is not close to you at all. I have, however, heard that Big Pool and Little Pool, backwaters off the upper Potomac, are good for crappie and bonus big pickerel.

Welcome aboard John to the fishing electronic group. I put the group together to help us better understand our electronic. Our electronic of today can do so much that most of us can only dream about, but its there we have to learn to tap into it.  I was told buy a pro get familiarize with your equipment use it often to keep the knowledge fresh in our memories and it will be good to you. Short version is use it or loose it. Welcome aboard have fun and don't be afraid to participate there is so much potential out there lets all learn together..

Thank you John. I like some squirrel myself, although I wouldn't call myself a hunter .
You did a great job on the jigs. I hope I can find some bluegill to test em on!

John, I received the jigs yesterday.
They are very tidy, well tied cap spiders.
I like the addition of the hair wing above the hook point. What is it?
Squirrel?
Fox?
They appear to be 1/64, or thereabouts. How do YOU fish them to best effect?
