thanks Tootie!... not since i was a kid!... the bass out of our lake tasted like the muck bottom lol... so ive been catch and release since then.... in Texas it is a huge thing to keep the small bass ... it is suggested and it has created quite a following amongst the other states to promote more trophy fisheries... at least their ears are open

Thanks guys! 50 years of fishing and have never caught a bass thru the ice... and this season I have two!! Great feeling when you beat your personal best twice in a couple weeks.

thanks guys ! had a great day on the ice... caught many gills also.

i heard the woman in her ice shelter about 50 ft from squealing she just caught a crappie... taking her cue i snapped on a pink Tabbert Jelly jig that i missed a nice crappie in an earlier session... hooked up with this guy almost immediately... took my rig on a few long runs... was a blast

Nice Bass Ken, I always loved catching bass through almost as much as pike but there all fun to catch no doubt.
