Fish deeper water during the spawn! Everyone "beats the banks" looking for bedding fish. You'll be surprised what you find!

Last week the weather was warm and the fish were in 6-8 feet of water. Yesterday there was a cold front and the fished moved out to the mouth of the bays and were suspended off ledges in 30 ft. of water!

Were you fishing below a dam? Have you ever tried using a jig and cork? It's a great technique that I use around here, and it will catch a lot of fish. Let me know if you want to hear more?
