Bluegill Project

The pictures of the pool are for a bluegill project i will be starting by 9/20/08. I am still working on building and adding a biofilter, and i am trying to get the water chemistry to were it needs to be. i will be testing to see if the larger presumed more aggressiveand healthy bluegill continue to out compete the small bluegill. The other picture are bluegill that I have caught. thanks for veiwing my page.

Hello Ethan, Thank's for the comment, Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I went up to my pond and cabin wed. morning, It's 95 miles north of my home. The picture was taken this summer. We had 17 inches of snow last week, and the pond was frozen, but it's thawed now.
The pond is in the northwest mountains of upstate New York ,and winters are pretty hard ,but it's something you have to accept if you want to live here.

I have three of those feeders, and I love them. I also found out at the Pond Boss conference that they had been discontinued. That upset me because I really love those things. They never break down. Anyway, I would send an email to Aquatic Ecosystems in Apopka, Florida. If anybody would know how to get one, it's them. Keep me informed, because I could use a couple as well.

Ahhh! Now I recognize that place!! That's awesome. I'm really jealous, because I was wishing that I could be there today.
