Memorial Weekend in South Dakota 2009. We fished stock ponds near Pierre for gills and bass and then Spearfish Creek for brown trout. Great Weekend and lot...
Catching big gills and a big northern on 2 # line. The biggest gill measured 11"!

Awesome video Erik. Looks like a blast.....
Nothing different but you have to be watching the vexilar and if you see any fish move through high you need to quickly reel up as the crappie usually are cruising by high.
She caught it on her Sage 4wt flyrod! It is only about two months away:)

after years of line twist with no REAL lasting solution I headed the advice from a local fishing forum and switched to crystal fireline.
