"Read my recent post about using light jigs and soft plastics. Consider line, reel, rod combo suggestions for the greatest casting distance and strike sensitivity. I usually catch over 40 fish per outing and much of the time stop counting over 100…"

"Bingo Brad, you do catch on quickly! There are many variations to this loop knot version of fishing, which are simple and quick to tie. Your suggestion of using a Uni-knot is very interesting. Uni-knots are becoming popular with anglers for tying on…"

"Duane, I'll experiment with this today as I'll be spooling on some new line on a new spinning reel. It occurs to me that one could tie a doubled-line Uni knot where it creates, on traditional terminal tackle, two lines through the eye…"

"Two excellent observations Brad. I have never been asked the second question before, but yes, I try to use the main line rather than the knotted line for the jig, however that is a bit tricky to determine especially with smaller diameter mono. But…"

"Duane, this seems like a novel way to eliminate the need to have any sort of swivel controlling two pieces of line down from the mainline. I love your idea; it is new to me. I do have a question: Once you make the loop and knot it, then cut it to…"

"Smoltz, micro-jigging for bluegill is how we taught our kids to fish. The method used was called the cork loop method, where a loop is tied in end of a 6# monofilament line using a surgeon’s knot. Typically the finished loop was a foot from…"

I like the action of craft hair for the majority of my jigs, including smallmouth bass hair jigs for rivers and streams. I sometimes tie in some silli legs or other rubber for appendages. But for most panfish jigs I like the movement and durability of craft hair.

Fact is since I can read it you must have wrote in in the right spot. I found as you go through the site we start using different things and the more we use them the more familiar we get with them. You have your page which which keeps track of your surfing sort to say. On your page you will have a friends list, any groups you belong to, picture section you want to keep your personal pictures so on and so on. We have Blog section and a Forum section loaded with lots of info. I have found the daily and most recent info will be on the extreme right hand side of your screen and all your info on the left side. I use mostly the Forum section or the Groups sections to relay info and do my postings.
