well i am now a addict to this new hobby. ihave just started tying my on jigs. and i started of with a easy one. the good old wooly bugger in basic black. so tell me what yall think

tie mini jigs/doll flys and they seem to catch all most anyting
i use no.12/10 hooks with 6mm bead head maraboo tail and glimmer yarn or chinele for the body. white black and chartruse seem to be the best colors. also stoneflies work very well - Attachments:

I've done well catching gills on black jigs I've tied.I'm a lousy tier but black rabbit fur and black thread has worked for me.

small jigs work great.black with a green tail. works great with a brass or metalic green bead head. stone flies are also great when they get picky.
cant think of where i saw it but poppers made out of old flip flops also work great. just punch out the size u want and tie them on 12/10 hook.
